What is usually behind it
The same symptom can have very different causes, and they cost very different amounts. This is what we are actually looking for.

Ice Machine repair FAQs
My ice maker stopped producing ice.
Three usual suspects: the water inlet valve, the fill tube icing over, or the ice maker module itself. We test them separately, because replacing the whole assembly when only the valve failed is the most common way people get overcharged on this repair.
How much will it cost?
It depends on which part failed. The service visit is free with any repair and $80 otherwise, and you get the full price before any work starts. If it turns out to be something simple we sort it out there and then, covered by the same $80.
The cubes come out hollow or very small.
Nearly always restricted water rather than a failing machine: a partly blocked fill line, a tired filter, or low pressure. We measure the actual fill before condemning anything.
The ice tastes or smells strange.
Usually an old filter or a water path that needs sanitising, which is maintenance rather than a fault. We will tell you if that is all it is instead of selling you a repair.
Ice clumps together into one lump.
The ice melted slightly and refroze, which points at a door seal or a failing fan rather than the ice maker. Clearing the lump without fixing that just delays it.
Do you repair built-in and outdoor ice machines?
Yes, including undercounter and outdoor units. They come out and go back properly, and outdoor machines have their own failure patterns we know well.
Do you handle commercial ice machines?
Yes, and we prioritise them. A restaurant without ice is losing service by the hour, so those go to the front of the queue.
Is it worth repairing or should I replace it?
A valve, module or fill tube is always worth fixing. A failed sealed system on a standalone machine often is not, and we will say so plainly.
How long does it take?
Most are done in one visit. Valves, modules and fill tubes are on the van; a board for a high-end built-in may need ordering, and we say so at the quote.
What warranty do I get?
Our labor carries 90 days on every completed repair, and original manufacturer (OEM) parts carry a full year. We tell you which parts are going in before you approve the work.
